This USB Voltmeter is the perfect tool for monitoring USB regulation when prototyping products. Its capable of reading realtime voltage and current. It also displays your current over time (mAH) of the device that is plugged in as well as the wattage.
On the back of the device is a small button that allows you to change your datasets. If you're working with a few products and want to record the current capacity of a different product without removing the previous one, you can load it on a different dataset.
This device doesn't just measure power but also acts as a serial passthrough - this way you can still use devices whilst connected to monitor their power draw over time whilst in operation. Great for monitoring power usage on Raspberry Pi's and similar microcontrollers.
This way you can connect it to a mobile device and still pass data through it to whichever device is connected to the USB Meter.
If over voltage occurs on the device plugged into this meter, it has automatic cutoff, protecting any mobile device from badly made USB Electronics.
