Description

Application:
This is the common L298N Motor Driver, designed for driving a 2 DC Motors for Robot Cars or a single Stepper motor.
It uses ST's L298N chip as the main driver which is a well known chip in the industry for motor drivers.
The breakout board itself has a built in 78M05 voltage regulator as well as filter capacitors and diode protection to stop back EMF when the car or robot is freewheeling.

Please remember if you're driving with voltage higher than 12V to please always use 5V Logic.

When using the driver to drive stepper motors - It can be done in the following way:
Pin EN can be used as a PWM to control the steps
Pin IN1 and IN2 can be used for controller the stepper direction.
