Description:
Wide Voltage 5V - 30V Trigger Delay Relay Module. This board features an On-Delay Switch Button and allows the time to be adjusted using the potentiometer.
Specifications:
Operating Voltage: 5V - 35V.
Relay Module: 10A 240VAC / 10A 30V DC
Operation Mode: After supplying power to the module, the state of the output is: NO is disconnected from common (COM), NC and COM are on. NO and COM are turned on when the external trigger (TRIG) gives a low pulse signal, or the trigger key is touched instantaneously, the relay is activated and the operation indicator is on. At this time, the state of the relay output terminal is: NC and COM are disconnected, after 0-24 seconds (this time can be adjusted according to your needs) after the relay disconnect, the relay goes back to its state before it was triggered.
The time can be adjusted by the potentiometer. The default time is 0 - 24 seconds. If a longer time is required, replace the larger capacitor (C2) or the potentiometer.
Delay Time Formula: T = 1.1RC For example, if you have a 22uF capacitor and 1M resistance then T = 1.1 * 0.000022 * 1000000 = 24.2 seconds.
Relay module includes freewheeling protection * A freewheeling diode is used to protect the circuit from unusual damage caused due to abrupt reduction in the current flowing through the circuit. It is also known as Flyback diode and forms connection across the inductor to remove Flyback voltage generated across it.
Applications:
- Alarm Delay, building sound and light switches.
- The need to have a start occasion to prevent multiple devices at the same time from starting
- Delay On functions
