Description

Go bigger, faster and further with the Anycubic Kobra S1 Max 3D Printer, a powerful large-format CoreXY FDM 3D printer designed for demanding makers, engineers, designers and advanced 3D printing applications.

With an impressive 350 x 350 x 350 mm build volume, printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s, a 350°C hardened-steel nozzle, automatic bed levelling and support for advanced engineering-grade materials, the Kobra S1 Max is built to handle projects that smaller desktop 3D printers simply cannot.

From large prototypes and functional components to cosplay parts, engineering models, production jigs and carbon-fibre-reinforced prints, the Kobra S1 Max combines size, speed and intelligent automation in one capable 3D printing platform.

Large 350 x 350 x 350 mm Build Volume

Think bigger.

The 350 x 350 x 350 mm printing area gives the Anycubic Kobra S1 Max significantly more room for large models, prototypes and functional components.

The larger build platform also makes batch production more practical, allowing multiple smaller parts to be arranged across the same build plate and printed in a single job.

Whether you're producing large prototypes, architectural models, cosplay components, workshop parts or multiple production pieces, the Kobra S1 Max gives you the space to do more.

High-Speed CoreXY Printing up to 600 mm/s

Large prints don't have to mean extremely long print times.

The Kobra S1 Max uses a CoreXY motion system engineered for fast, stable movement across its large build area. It offers a recommended printing speed of 300 mm/s and can reach a maximum speed of up to 600 mm/s.

Maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s² allows the printer to move rapidly between features while maintaining the controlled motion required for detailed FDM printing.

This combination of large-format capacity and high-speed printing makes the Kobra S1 Max an excellent choice for prototyping, workshops and users who regularly produce large or time-consuming prints.

350°C Hardened-Steel Nozzle

The Anycubic Kobra S1 Max isn't limited to basic PLA printing.

Its hardened-steel nozzle reaches temperatures of up to 350°C, while hardened-steel extrusion gears provide the durability required for working with more demanding and abrasive materials.

The printer supports a wide range of standard and engineering-grade filaments, including:

  • PLA

  • PETG

  • PET

  • PLA-CF

  • PETG-CF

  • PVA

  • ABS

  • ASA

  • PC

  • PA

  • PA6-CF

  • PC-CF/GF

  • PET-CF

This makes the Kobra S1 Max particularly attractive for functional prototypes, engineering components, workshop tools, jigs, fixtures and other applications where material performance matters as much as appearance.

Built for Carbon-Fibre & Engineering Materials

Carbon-fibre and glass-fibre reinforced filaments can be highly abrasive to standard 3D printer components.

The Kobra S1 Max addresses this with a hardened-steel nozzle and hardened-steel extrusion gears, giving the extrusion system greater resistance to wear when working with compatible composite materials.

Combined with the 350°C maximum nozzle temperature and 120°C heated bed, this gives advanced users considerably more freedom when selecting materials for demanding applications.

LeviQ 3.0 Automatic Bed Levelling

A large build plate makes accurate levelling especially important.

The LeviQ 3.0 automatic bed levelling system automatically measures the printing surface to help establish a consistent first layer across the Kobra S1 Max's large 350 x 350 mm bed.

The printer also incorporates area levelling, pressure advance and flow calibration, helping improve extrusion consistency and print quality without requiring constant manual adjustment.

The result is an easier setup process and a more automated workflow for both everyday and advanced printing.

Intelligent AI Print Monitoring

Large-format prints can take many hours to complete, making intelligent monitoring particularly valuable.

The Kobra S1 Max features an integrated 720P HD camera and AI Spaghetti Detection to help identify common printing failures before additional time and filament are wasted.

Remote video monitoring also allows you to check the progress of compatible print jobs without needing to remain next to the printer.

Filament Detection & Automatic Resume

The Kobra S1 Max incorporates multiple safeguards designed to protect long and valuable print jobs.

Filament detection and automatic resume help manage unexpected filament interruptions, while filament entanglement detection can identify feeding problems before they compromise an entire print.

If electrical power is interrupted, power-loss resume allows a compatible print job to continue rather than necessarily having to start again from the beginning.

These features are particularly useful when producing large models that may run for extended periods.

Object Skip for Multi-Part Printing

Printing several components at the same time and one starts to fail?

The Kobra S1 Max supports Object Skip, allowing a problematic object in a multi-object print job to be skipped while printing continues on the remaining models.

This can save significant time and filament compared with cancelling an entire build plate because of a problem with one individual component.

PEI Spring Steel Build Plate

The heated print bed reaches temperatures of up to 120°C and uses a PEI spring steel build surface.

PEI provides reliable adhesion for compatible materials during printing, while the flexible spring-steel plate makes finished models easier to remove after cooling.

The high-temperature bed is also an important advantage when working with engineering materials that require greater bed temperatures than standard PLA.

Integrated 720P HD Camera

Monitor large and long-running prints using the Kobra S1 Max's built-in 720P HD camera.

Combined with compatible Anycubic software and app functionality, the camera allows you to remotely check print progress without physically standing next to the machine.

It also provides the visual information required by the printer's AI-assisted print monitoring features.

Remote Printing & App Control

Control your Kobra S1 Max directly from the printer's 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen or integrate it into a connected printing workflow using compatible Anycubic software and the Anycubic App.

Print files can also be transferred using a USB drive, providing both connected and offline printing options.

The printer runs Kobra OS and provides multilingual interface support for a straightforward user experience.

Quiet Operation

Large-format performance doesn't necessarily have to mean excessive noise.

The Kobra S1 Max operates at approximately ≤48 dB in Standard Mode, while Quiet Mode reduces operating noise to approximately ≤45 dB.

This makes it more practical for workshops, studios, offices and other environments where printer noise needs to be kept under control.

Optional Multi-Colour Printing

The Kobra S1 Max can also form part of a compatible Anycubic multi-colour printing setup.

Multi-colour hardware is sold separately, allowing users who initially need a powerful single-filament large-format printer to expand their system later if their printing requirements change.
