Design & Operation

The wipe module positions a soft wipe pad in the path of the nozzle. Before printing, and at selected intervals during long or multi-colour prints, the nozzle passes over the wipe surface to remove excess filament. This helps start prints cleanly and reduces the risk of extrusion defects caused by accumulated plastic on the nozzle tip.
